BCPL uses OverDrive for downloadable books. I would love to be able to borrow books for download and then listen to them but I can’t since I use an iPod. Until they figure out a different way of doing things, other iPod users and I will either go without audiobooks, buy them, or find somewhere else to get them. Too bad.
I found an MP3 to iPod Audio Book Converter which is probably at best cheating or worst, illegal. But they’re out there. So… how is OverDrive gaining anything by restricting access to its materials from iPod users?
