Hi! I’m Ellen Ward and I work in the Technology Support department of Baltimore County Public Library. Quite a few years ago I began learning about the Internet as it was introduced into the library. I realized then that it was going to be a life-changing and exciting thing. I’m feeling that way again. Social networking is changing the way people connect and communicate. I want to learn more about how we can use collaboration, communication and community in libraries and more particularly for me, how those of us in technology support can help our library system to use the new technologies to connect with our customers.
