BCPL uses OverDrive for downloadable books. I would love to be able to borrow books for download and then listen to them but I can’t since I use an iPod. Until they figure out a different way of doing things, other iPod users and I will either go without audiobooks, buy them, or find somewhere else to get them. Too bad.
I found an MP3 to iPod Audio Book Converter which is probably at best cheating or worst, illegal. But they’re out there. So… how is OverDrive gaining anything by restricting access to its materials from iPod users?

I do not know if the video tutorial “Downloading to your iPod” might help you.
However, would like to have your comments on that
It is the third video on

Listen how books talk!
Another option that allows you to physically have the CDs so you can play them in your car – it seriously helps with long commutes and traffic – is an online audiobook rental service. It’s like Netflix (which is also awesome) but with audiobooks. Pay monthly and they mail you unlimited audiobooks. The turn around has been around 2 days usually and the customer service has been very kind when I accidentally lost one. They’ve had all the books I was looking for and you can request a book they don’t have and they’ll get it for you.
